Got a new computer today...

...so maybe I'll finally be able to get back into this whole writing thing!

I've been without a true, blue laptop for months now. In the interim I've just been using my iPhone. While really great in general, it is not a laptop. I'm so excited to have something solid in my hands again.

I got an ACER Aspire V5. It is a laptop but the screen is touch-friendly. Which works well with the Windows 8 operating system that I had to purchase. Unfortunately they don't even let you do Windows 7 anymore so I really just had to make a decision of touch screen or not with Windows 8. I think I made a good choice!

***Update***

Returned the ACER due to wireless connectivity issues and got an HP ENVY dv7. No touchscreen but better overall. :)

Yay for a new laptop! Maybe I'm just a geek, but I love getting a new laptop. And I hope you do get back into writing! I was really enjoying A Focus In Time...

Next up, an iPad! But probably at least a year out is my prediction. Need to wait for next year's tax return. :)
